Softball Recap: Baraboo Thunderbirds vs. Sauk Prairie Eagles
While Baraboo's win against Sauk Prairie wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Thunderbirds narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eagles 8-7. The Thunderbirds haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.
Taytum Poker made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and three unearned) runs off 11 hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Baraboo let Zeva Valley and Stella Cognac run wild.
