Soccer Recap: Yuma Snags Third Win in Last Four Games

Yuma's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand the Dysart Demons a 2-0 shutout. This was payback for the Criminals, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Luis Medina Arellano and Orlando Villa scored both of Yuma's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Yuma is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-11-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four contests. As for Dysart, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6-1.

Yuma will square off against Cortez at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dysart does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
