Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Nolan Quick and Gabriel Johnson Lead Richmond to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop LeBlond, Richmond was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lafayette County Huskers by a score of 53-45. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-51 back in December of 2024.

Leading Richmond to victory were Gabriel Johnson and Nolan Quick. Johnson dropped a double-double on 12 points and 16 boards, while Quick posted 19 points. Dryden Hendrix was another key player, putting up 11 points and six rebounds.

Richmond's record is now 13-3. As for Lafayette County, their loss dropped their record down to 15-4.

Richmond will welcome Hogan Prep Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lafayette County, they will challenge Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
