Softball Recap: Horace vs. Shanley Deacons
Horace came up short against the Shanley Deacons on Thursday, falling 17-6. Horace has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tristyn Struck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Struck is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Leah Holten was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 5-3. As for Shanley, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0.
