Logan skates past Quemado with ease

Recap: Logan Longhorns vs. Quemado Eagles

The Logan Longhorns can now show off 11 landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Quemado 83-31 on the road. With Logan ahead 55-20 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Logan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Wallin led the charge by scoring 22 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Wallin is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaeden Stoner, who scored 21 points along with five steals.

The win makes it two in a row for Logan and bumps their season record up to 16-1. As for Quemado, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.

Logan and Springer will face off at 10:00 a.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Springer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Mexico Rankings (they are ranked 96th, while Logan is ranked 14th). As for Quemado, Quemado and Hatch Valley will face off at 2:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
