Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln Park vs. Payton College Prep

Lincoln Park is 0-7-1 against Payton College Prep since April of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Lincoln Park is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They lost 6-1 to Lane Tech. While losing is never fun, Lincoln Park can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Lane Tech are ranked 40th).

Meanwhile, Payton College Prep came up short against Jones on Wednesday, falling 9-1. Payton College Prep have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jasmine Zhang, who's now up to three this season.

Lincoln Park's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Payton College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
