Volleyball Recap: Boswell Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Boswell came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Vandegrift Vipers.

Boswell found their leader in sophomore Emma Stuhr, who had four digs and three aces. Maribel Longspaugh also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Boswell was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive games.

Vandegrift's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexa Gage, who had 12 assists and four digs. Gage has been hot, having posted 12 or more assists the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isobel Cullen, who had ten digs and one assist.

Boswell's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Vandegrift, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-4.

Boswell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Walnut Grove on the 21st. As for Vandegrift, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Northwest on the 21st.
