After a string of six wins, Forest Hills Northern's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Northview Wildcats by a score of 56-53. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 112th, while the Wildcats are ranked 21st).

Forest Hills Northern's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Northview, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Forest Hills Northern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northview, they will be taking part in a tournament against Byron Center at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron Center will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Northview surely won't give up without a fight.
