But down in Texas the regular season is already a week old and
Gerald Liddell of
Steele (Cibolo, Texas) looks to be picking up where he left off last year when he was one of the best sophomores in the country.
Friday night during a 107-66 win over Nixon (Laredo), the 6-foot-8 wing put up 29 points and put this defender on a poster.
Liddell is regarded as the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2018 class by 247Sports. Florida State, Iowa State, Kansas and Texas have all extended offers.
After putting up 17.3 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while leading Steele to a 32-4 record a year ago, Liddell earned first team MaxPreps Sophomore All-American honors.
