Volleyball Recap: North Fork Find Success

North Fork proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers, sneaking past 3-2.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-101) North Fork actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-20, 21-25, 25-21, 15-13.

North Fork is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Montezuma-Cortez, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.

Looking ahead, North Fork will take on Grand Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Montezuma-Cortez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
