Basketball Recap: Atlanta Comes Up Short

Atlanta and Jefferson squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Atlanta had to settle for second. They fell 62-54 to the Jefferson Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Rabbits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 570th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 248th).

Atlanta's defeat dropped their record down to 20-13. As for Jefferson, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-4.

Atlanta does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jefferson, they will challenge Malakoff on Thursday.
