Delano won the last time they faced Benilde-St. Margaret and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers skirted past the Red Knights 3-1.

Brody Geislinger spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carter Van Beusekom was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Delano's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delano will welcome Hutchinson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hutchinson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so Delano's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Prague at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
