After a string of five wins, the Andress Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 53-31 walloping at the hands of Chapin. Andress has struggled against Chapin recently, as their game on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Savion Jordan, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Jayden Leverett was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Andress' defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Chapin, their win was their 21st straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-4.
Andress will challenge El Paso at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chapin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. Jefferson is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.
