Volleyball Recap: Tates Creek Takes Down Ranked Western Hills

Tates Creek faced Western Hills in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Commodores won by a set and slipped past the Wolverines 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Commodores: when they faced off against the Wolverines back in April, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

Tates Creek had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 26-24, 15-13.

The victory got Tates Creek back to even at 9-9-1. As for Western Hills, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Tates Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Lafayette on the 8th. Western Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
