Volleyball Recap: Hilmar Comes Up Short

Hilmar came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Ripon Christian Knights, falling 3-0. The Yellowjackets have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-10.

Ripon Christian found their leader in sophomore Ian Brown, who had six digs and five aces.

Hilmar's loss dropped their record down to 7-19. As for Ripon Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Hilmar nor Ripon Christian have any future games scheduled.
