Softball Game Preview: Ingraham Rams vs. West Seattle

Ingraham is 0-7 against West Seattle since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will venture away from home to square off against West Seattle at 4:00 p.m. One thing working in Ingraham's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six games.

On Monday, Ingraham made easy work of Cleveland and carried off a 23-10 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, West Seattle lost 17-5 to Ballard on Monday. West Seattle has struggled against Ballard recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Kaila Ignacio was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Ingraham's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for West Seattle, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.

Ingraham might still be hurting after the 26-0 loss they got from West Seattle in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
