Shadle Park won the last time they faced Gonzaga Prep and things went their way on Friday too. Shadle Park was the clear victor by a 21-11 margin over Gonzaga Prep. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Highlanders.
McKenzie Duncan was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up just one earned (and ten unearned) runs off ten hits. Duncan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Madi Keon was a standout: she went a perfect 5-for-5 with five RBI, three doubles, and two runs. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Ava Edgar also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
