Baseball Recap: South Florence Gets the Win

South Florence came out on top against Bishop England on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fifth inning. The Bruins took their match against the Battling Bishops 8-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

The team relied heavily on Jhordyn Johnson, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Shelden Anderson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

South Florence's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Bishop England, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-7.

South Florence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop England, they will host South Aiken at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
