Oswego East typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Kaneland proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 16-4 victory. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

Brynn Woods made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.
