Basketball Recap: Bandon Piles Up the Points Against Gold Beach

Bandon won the last time they faced Gold Beach and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bandon Tigers blew past the Gold Beach Panthers 60-13. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 20 points or more this season.

Bandon is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Gold Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bandon Tigers challenge the Illinois Valley Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gold Beach, they will challenge Myrtle Point at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Myrtle Point will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Gold Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
