Volleyball Game Preview: Mount Ayr Raiders vs. Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils

The Mount Ayr Raiders will challenge the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Martensdale-St. Mary's took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Mount Ayr, who comes in off a win.

On Saturday, Mount Ayr was able to grind out a solid victory over Interstate 35, taking the game 2-0. The win continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Martensdale-St. Mary's entered their match against Clarke on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Indians.

Mount Ayr's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Mount Ayr was able to grind out a solid win over Martensdale-St. Mary's when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
