It was a proper cat-fight when Hayden duked it out with Cullman on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 4-1 victory over the Bearcats. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Bearcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Hayden saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Hill, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Hayden was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in seven consecutive contests.

Hayden's victory bumped their record up to 22-15. As for Cullman, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Hayden will take on Brookwood at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cullman, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
