Volleyball Recap: Pleasanton Comes Up Short

Pleasanton lost against Uniontown back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blu-Jays fell 2-0 to the Eagles. The Blu-Jays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Uniontown scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18.

Pleasanton's loss dropped their record down to 8-12-1. As for Uniontown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-16-1.

Pleasanton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 0-0 draw against Northeast on the 4th. As for Uniontown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Central Heights on the 4th.
