Softball Recap: Windham Comes Up Short

Windham and Cuyahoga Heights squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Windham had to settle for second. They lost 12-2 to the Red Wolves. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Bombers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Windham saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brielle Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Windham's loss dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Windham nor the Red Wolves have any future games scheduled.
