Brayden Tyson Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Wednesday, Brookwood got the W thanks in part to Brayden Tyson playing the best football he has all season. Tyson rushed for 362 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 19.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
Parkview's probably not too fond of Tyson given he always seems to get the better of them. Tyson rushed for 149 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 43 receiving yards the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Darnell Kelly's Big Game Leads Peachtree Ridge over Duluth
Peachtree Ridge found a leader in Darnell Kelly as the team took down Duluth on Wednesday. Nobody could stop Kelly as he threw for 237 yards and four touchdowns on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown.
Duluth had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Kelly it was a similar story. When Kelly last faced the Wildcats back in November of 2023, he rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 179 yards and a touchdown.

Jahmir Joseph Delivers Electric Performance Vs Peachtree Ridge
While Jahmir Joseph delivered a dominant effort on Wednesday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Duluth. Nobody could stop Joseph as he rushed for 96 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also picked up 49 receiving yards.
Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Wildcats challenges Parkview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Peachtree Ridge got the W thanks in part to Bryce Green playing the best football he has all season. Green picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 60 yards.
This year, Green has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 30.1 receiving yards per game.
