Basketball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 55-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Brewster Bears.

Lakeside now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Brewster, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Lakeside will head out to take on Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Liberty's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Brewster, they will welcome Manson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brewster is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
