Shaker is a perfect 6-0 against Albany since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Bison will challenge the Falcons at 11:00 a.m. Shaker's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Albany's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, Shaker sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Pine Bush. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.

Ruby Szemplinski was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. Gianna Hotaling also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Albany took on Bethlehem Central on Monday. The Falcons came up short against the Eagles, falling 9-3. The Falcons have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Albany's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Shaker, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything went Shaker's way against Albany when the teams last played last Monday, as Shaker made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bison since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
