Volleyball Recap: Gilmer Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Gilmer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Union County Panthers. The Bobcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Gilmer was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 19 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19.

Gilmer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Union County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Gilmer has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Fannin County on the 16th. As for Union County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee on the 19th.
