Basketball Recap: Monday's Win Is Vision's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Vision had won two straight road games and Raelynn Nickel did her part to make it three on Monday. Vision came out on top against the Centennial Baptist Mustangs by a score of 36-27 thanks in part to Nickel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 32 times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Lexi Rogers, who posted seven points. Those seven points gave her a new career-high.

Vision is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points per game. As for Centennial Baptist, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vision won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Notus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Centennial Baptist, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Twin Falls Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twin Falls Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Centennial Baptist surely won't give up without a fight.
