Volleyball Recap: Chattahoochee Triumphs

The Chattahoochee Cougars were able to grind out a solid victory over the Collins Hill Eagles on Saturday, taking the game 2-0.

Elise Martinez paced Chattahoochee's offense, picking up nine kills. Martinez were helped by Isabella Podesta and Julia Karabolad, who contributed nine assists each. Karabolad was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

When it comes to explaining why Collins Hill lost, don't look at Abby Kim. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and one assist.

Chattahoochee's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Collins Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Chattahoochee has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Mount Pisgah Christian on the 9th. As for Collins Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Forsyth Central on the 9th.
