Soccer Game Preview: Kirkwood vs. Cleveland

The Kirkwood Cobras will challenge the Cleveland Blue Raiders at 6:10 p.m. on Saturday. Kirkwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Kirkwood saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jefferson County. Kirkwood have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kirkwood was without their leading scorer, Jordan Canas, in Friday's matchup. With Canas sidelined, Owen Wibking got his first action of the season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Cleveland was forced to settle for a draw. They and Cumberland County finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Friday.

With that draw, Cleveland's record moves to 2-2-1. As for Kirkwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
