The scorekeeper got an easy start on Saturday as neither Huron nor Trenton made it on the board until the sixth inning. The River Rats skirted past the Trojans 5-4. This was a revenge game for the River Rats: when they faced off against the Trojans on Saturday, they had to take a 11-10 defeat.

Huron has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Trenton, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Coming up, Huron will take on Dexter at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The River Rats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dreadnaughts have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Trenton, they will venture away from home to face off against Edsel Ford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
