Basketball Recap: Crossroads Charter Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to 12

Crossroads Charter Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Pentwater Falcons 57-24. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 43-33 back in January.

Crossroads Charter Academy pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points over those games. As for Pentwater, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crossroads Charter Academy will take on Grand Traverse Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pentwater, they will venture away from home to square off against Walkerville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Pentwater is facing Walkerville at the right time seeing as Walkerville is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
