Flag Football Recap: Zuri Ferguson and Brooklyn Koedel Pace Mission Viejo Defense

Mission Viejo got themselves on the board against Centennial on Saturday, but Centennial never followed suit. They secured a 6-0 W over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Diablos.

Mission Viejo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zuri Ferguson and Brooklyn Koedel.

Mission Viejo's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Centennial, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mission Viejo will challenge rival San Juan Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Diablos 13, the Stallions 14.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Centennial is set to take on their familiar foe Santiago at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant s against one another: Jaylene Sangenito and Brooklyn Binder.
