Football Recap: Columbia Falls to Hoquiam in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Columbia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Hoquiam Grizzlies and fell 54-14. The Bruins were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Hoquiam's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-0-2.

Looking ahead, Columbia will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Columbia River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hoquiam, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against King's Way Christian at 7:00 p.m.
