 The Sotomayor Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Torres Toros at 2:15  p.m.  on Friday.
 Last Wednesday, Sotomayor fell victim to a  tough 19-6 loss at the hands of Marquez.
 Meanwhile, Torres scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by  a  34-1 margin over Elizabeth. The result was nothing new for Torres, who have now won six games by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
  Daniella Flores and  Melanie Lozano did most of the damage at the plate:  Flores  fired off two  home runs, seven  RBI,  and three  runs while going 5-for-6, while  Lozano  went 4-for-5 with a  home run, eight  RBI,  and five  runs.  Audrey Sanchez was another key contributor,  going 5-for-6 with a  home run, four  runs,  and three  RBI.
 Sotomayor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Torres, the  win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.
 Sotomayor suffered a grim  29-3 defeat to Torres  when the teams last played  back in March. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Torres'  Mia Fuentes, who   pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits (she also only allowed one  walk).
