Iona Prep waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Cardinal Spellman Pilots as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in April.

Iona Prep was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-17.

Brett Muscatella paced Iona Prep's offense, picking up 17 kills. Muscatella got some help from Alexander Longsworth and his 22 assists. Jacob Chiu controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Iona Prep's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Cardinal Spellman, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Iona Prep will square off against Regis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cardinal Spellman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
