Madison has gone a perfect 6-0 against Conneaut recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Blue Streaks are taking a road trip to challenge the Spartans at 4:30 p.m. Madison is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Madison's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Perry hitters got past them. The Blue Streaks lost 14-6 to the Pirates on Thursday. The Blue Streaks haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Gianna LaMarco was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Behm, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, Conneaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 11-8 to Geneva.

Madison's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Conneaut, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything went Madison's way against Conneaut when the teams last played on April 9th, as Madison made off with a 20-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Streaks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
