Dexter waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 56-47 win over the East Prairie Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Dexter now has a winning record of 6-5. As for East Prairie, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-1 record.

Dexter will be taking part in a tournament against Puxico at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Dexter's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for East Prairie, they will face off against New Madrid County Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
