Basketball Game Preview: Mount Abram Roadrunners vs. Maranacook Black Bears

The Mount Abram Roadrunners will challenge the Maranacook Black Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mount Abram is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 61 points on Friday, they were much more limited against Madison on Tuesday. They fell 35-23 to the Bulldogs. The Roadrunners haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Maranacook was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 42-37 to Mountain Valley.

Maranacook has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Mount Abram, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
