Volleyball Recap: Blissfield Takes a Loss

Blissfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Concord Yellowjackets. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

While Blissfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23.

Blissfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Concord, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6-3 record this season.

Blissfield will square off against Hillsdale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Concord has already played their next match (against Madison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
