Montgomery Academy is a perfect 3-0 against Smiths Station since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Eagles will challenge the Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Montgomery Academy's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Montgomery Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Chelsea, who was ranked 13th at the time (Montgomery Academy was ranked 15th). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Smiths Station was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They came up short against Auburn, falling 3-0. Smiths Station haven't had much luck with Auburn recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Montgomery Academy's draw makes their record 10-3-3 this season. As for Smiths Station, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-5.

Montgomery Academy beat Smiths Station 3-1 in their previous meeting back in February of 2021. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
