Burlington-Edison entered their tilt with Blaine on Friday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They never let the Borderites get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Burlington-Edison got a great performance from Ryder Aldridge as he pitched 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Aldridge has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cody Roetcisoender, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one triple and one run. That triple was his first of the season.

Burlington-Edison pushed their record up to 16-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Blaine, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Burlington-Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Ferndale on the 5th. Blaine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
