Basketball Recap: Nashua Takes a Loss

If Nashua was riding high fresh off their 83-55 takedown of Frazer last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Nashua Porcupines were dealt a 72-19 loss at the hands of the Lustre Christian Lions on Thursday. The Porcupines were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in January.

Nashua's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lustre Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Nashua and Terry will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Lustre Christian, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Frazer at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Lustre Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Frazer likes a good challenge.
