Recap: New Bern Christian Academy vs. Greenville Christian Academy Knights
New Bern Christian Academy's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They managed a 54-49 win over Greenville Christian Academy. This was payback for New Bern Christian Academy, who suffered a 50-49 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Faith Huffman, who scored 29 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alli Anderson, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
New Bern Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Bern Christian Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pungo Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Pungo Christian Academy will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Greenville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Wilmington Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Wilmington Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 last Friday.
