Softball Recap: Forest Takes a Loss

Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 22-0 to the Northeast Jones Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 last Tuesday.

Forest's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Northeast Jones, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-1 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Forest Bearcats take on Meridian Wildcats at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Northeast Jones, they are taking a road trip to square off against Seminary at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
