Football Recap: Mehlville Comes Up Short

Mehlville was the 28-23 winner over Webster Groves when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers lost 27-6 to the Statesmen on Friday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mehlville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Webster Groves, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mehlville will take on McCluer North at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Webster Groves, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Ritenour at 6:00 p.m. on October 9.
