Bluffton waltzed into their matchup  on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Bishop England Battling Bishops by a score of  31-24. For the Bobcats, this counts as revenge for the   28-24 victory the Battling Bishops walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2024.
 Aedan McCarthy produced another solid  performance throwing for 231 yards and a pair of  touchdowns, while also rushing for 47 yards and one  score. Another player making a difference was  Kordell Holley, who rushed for 92 yards and one  TD.
 They were just one part of a punishing run game: Bluffton was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 220  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted since back in August.
 Bluffton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Carnell Warren and  Amare Patterson. Another thorn in Bishop England's side was  Jacobi Saunders, who made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended one pass.
Bluffton's record is now 7-2. As for Bishop England, they dropped their record down to 6-3 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bluffton will welcome May River  at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Bishop England, they will host Colleton County  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Battling Bishops will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.22  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
