Basketball Game Preview: L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders vs. Chippewa Valley Big Reds

The L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders will be taking part in a tournament against the Chippewa Valley Big Reds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. L'Anse Creuse North is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

L'Anse Creuse North picked up another tournament win on Friday. They snuck past Port Huron Northern with a 64-60 victory.

Utica Ford typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Chippewa Valley proved too difficult a challenge. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 53-52 win over the Falcons. The Big Reds haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Chippewa Valley's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two points across that stretch. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their victory bumped their record up to 17-8.

L'Anse Creuse North came up short against Chippewa Valley in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 47-41. Can L'Anse Creuse North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
