League recap: PicKell races to league-leading run for Orange Lutheran

Orange Lutheran's J.D. PicKell rumbled for the longest rushing play in Trinity this season in his game against Woodrow Wilson last week. PicKell ran for 57 yards on the play and finished with 57 on the day as his team bested the Bruins.

Josh Rosen and Shay Fields provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Dominguez. The longest such play in the league this season, the connection resulted in 95 yards.

St. John Bosco's dynamic duo of Rosen and Fields proved to be unstoppable against the Dons, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rosen threw for 307 yards and 5 touchdowns and Fields had 148 yards receiving. Jaleel Wadood helped St. John Bosco's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 138 yards.

The Braves' dynamic duo of Rosen and Fields proved tough for Dominguez to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

He went 12-15 with 0 interceptions.

Luke Langdon was the best running back in the league this week. In 9 carries, he ran for 92 yards as Orange Lutheran topped Keith Donerson's team. Teammate L.J. Northington added to the ground attack by rushing for 70 yards.

Rosen put up the best numbers in passing as Jason Negro's team beat the Dons.

Fields was the best wideout in Trinity this week as the Braves defeated Dominguez.

St. John Bosco's Rosen and Fields have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Rosen has thrown for 307 yards this season, while Fields, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 4 catches for 148 yards. Langdon from Chuck Petersen's team leads the league in rushing with 92 yards.

The Lancers were the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fourth to second in the league. Orange Lutheran defeated Woodrow Wilson 50-6 earlier in the week.
